He then took another puff of his pipe... it actually started to become apparent that Bird's office was filled with smoke, it was evident he was doing this a lot. He re-entered the building and went up the stairs to what HE called the first floor - though in America it would be called the second. He, of course, didn't realize this, so he looked around aimlessly for a break room. "He did say first floor, didn't he?" Drystan said aloud to himself. "Ceilliau, mate. Jupiter kept on staring at the sky. She wondered what she could do to pass the time while waiting on news about Chesire. Should she do more exercises? Nah. She was done with that for the day. There was literally nothing that she could do at the moment. Jupiter then remembered back at her hometown she would be probably be busy working at the moment. Her thoughts were taken away however when she heard that someone was talking to her. She looked over and noticed that the girl was being really nervous. Was she being scary? How could she fix that? He put a hand friendily on her shoulder. "I mean, I don't, but I still do the same work, eh?" he laughed.

Terry walked into the Talorre Building, holding a binder. He was humming to himself, mostly to pass the time after a somewhat lonelier walk, since Beata had left on the bus. He waved to the front desk crew, since they all knew Terry already, he stopped by all the time. Mostly to try and convince Max to spend MORE MONEY. He kinda rolled that way. Terry walked into the elevator and took it to a higher floor, before stopping by on the floor Max's office was at along with where many in MSI were housed. Terry walked over to Max's secretary and asked "Hey, is Max free? I need to talk..." to which he was told to wait outside... so Chesire did just that. He then waited outside Max's house... and waited... and waited. He let out a yawn as he looked over to his watch, it was getting late.

Terry was just sort of dozing off when a blue-haired girl that looked to be around his age passed by him, with a greeting "Huh-? Oh- hello there." he responded to her, caught somewhat off guard. Usually it was him randomly greeting people out of nowhere, not the other way around. He just then kind of stared at her as she drank water... and more water... and more water... and MORE WATER. Eventually she stopped to just say... thirsty. Terry seemed somewhat baffled by that statement, he was expecting more of an explanation than just 'thirsty'. he just sort of stared at her, nodding with a blank look on his face as he replied "I-I can see that-!" in a baffled tone. Chesire, continued to lean on the wall outside Max's office as he continued to stare at Rona, though he didn't realize he was doing so "Wait... who are you...? Terry nodded to Rona when she confirmed she had eyes "Why thank you, I hadn't noticed prior!" he remarked sarcastically, stretching somewhat against the wall, standing around waiting was horrible. When she stated her name, Chesire soon replied "Nice to meet you Rona, I'm Terry Suruzaki." he introduced himself, before going quiet as Rona explained her presence. She seemed... very serious... so much so that Terry seemed moved by her words. His eyes widened... her very life depended on it! "W-wait a moment! You described Max as a... 'human'... does that mean you're not one?" as someone who was interested in inhuman rights, Terry seemed very focused upon Rona suddenly. "You must succeed Rona! "Good!" he added when Rona assured him she did not give up on achieving her goals "Don't let any human tell you otherwise!" he exclaimed, looking quite proud of himself until Rona once again questioned him about his whereabouts. "Oh right-" Terry spoke in a lower voice, he had almost forgotten why he was here in the first place "I teach some kids back in the Residential Complex... we're low on funding and there's only three of us... so I was going go approach Max about some possible funding... we don't even have enough paper for the students-" he explained himself to Rona, he was beginning to wonder if Max was even in his office "So I suppose that's my request...-"

He wasn't used to people saying that about his job "Most people tell me I could have been whatever I wanted to be...! They used to call me a genius... you know? I mean... I graduated from college at 16 years old... only been a teacher for one year. But as soon as everyone found out I wanted to be a school teacher instead of a scientist or a politician... people suddenly didn't care anymore.
